Transferring Nikon Coolpix photos to your computer – simple steps
Nowadays, all digital cameras are equipped with removable media, which is a much easier and convenient way to transfer photos.
Simply remove the media card from the camera and connect it to a computer port. These card readers must be purchased separately as they are not supplied with your Nikon camera.
You can connect your Nikon camera directly to your computer using the supplied USB cable to download pictures or transfer images from the camera to the computer.
After you have transferred photos from the Nikon Coolpix to the computer, you can remove the photos from the camera.

Copying pictures to a computer

What is ViewNX-I?
ViewNX-I is an application designed to manage and use images taken with a Nikon camera. This application lets you view and edit recorded clips and JPEG and RAW photos. Mainly used for image configuration, viewing and downloading.
You can download the latest version of ViewNX-I by clicking on this link and following the commands and instructions on screen to complete the installation process.
Make sure you are connected to the Internet when downloading and installing ViewNX-I. You can also resize and customize photos with the ViewNX-I application.
Photo transfer
Follow the steps below to transfer photos from the Coolpix to your computer:
Step one: Connect the USB cable
First, turn the camera off and check that the memory card is inserted. Then use the USB cable to connect the computer and the camera. After connecting the two.
Be sure to connect the camera directly to the computer and do not use a keyboard or USB hub to connect the camera to the cable port.
Make sure that the power is off when connecting or disconnecting cables and that the cable connector is not squeezed to an incorrect angle during installation.

Step three: Press the Start transmission button
A dialog box displays all the images stored on the memory card, you can select them or select all and click Start Transfer.
All selected images on the memory card are copied to the computer.
Step four: End connection
After transferring your photos to the computer, you can end the connection between your Nikon camera and your laptop by disconnecting the USB cable.

To transfer photos wirelessly from your Nikon camera to your computer, you need Snap Bridge.
What is Snap Bridge?
This application establishes a wireless connection between the camera and the smart device. The messages and dialog box may differ from those in this article, while the functionality of the Snap Bridge application depends on the firmware, operating system, and version of Snap Bridge that you are using.
Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the Snapbridge application.
Pairing of devices
Before you begin, make sure you have downloaded the latest version of Snapbridge and have Bluetooth enabled.
Step one:
Search for the Snap Bridge app in the Play Store, or if you are using iOS, search for the Snap Bridge app in the Apple iOS Store and install it.
Step two: Activate Bluetooth on your smart device
Connect to the camera using Snap Bridge. Another great thing about this app is that you can freely connect to any device to share data.
For Android devices
Before starting the procedure, make sure there is enough space on the camera’s memory card. Follow the steps below to pair the camera with Andiron devices.
Step one: Move the cursor to Connect with a smart device in the menu and press the right side button.
When you see the camera start displaying apps and the camera name, get your smart device ready to connect.
Step two: Now launch Snapbridge on your smart device and click the Connect button on the camera.
Pairing with a camera
When you click to connect to the camera, a welcome dialog box with connection information appears in the upper right corner. Then click on the tab 1. Connect with camera and proceed to step 3.
Start the front capture deck
If you launch the Instant Bridge application before the camera prompts you or before the camera searches for a device, the Instant Bridge application prompts you to select a camera type.
You can click on the desired camera type whose images you want to transfer. When you click on a camera type, a startup prompt appears on the screen; then proceed to step 3.
Step three: Intelligent device
The camera or application will start searching for the device, when you see the name of the camera, tap it to associate it.
If your camera name is not displayed
This can happen if you start the snap-in bridge before the camera displays the startup prompt (step 1). Then close Clickbridge and remove the application from the background (the procedure varies from device to device).
After you remove the capture bridge from the background, restart the application.
Step four: Intelligent device
When the camera or smartphone asks for pairing, make sure the same authentication code (as shown) is displayed on the camera and smartphone.
Step 5: Merge
Click on OK.
Intelligent device: Click on the pair with the ok button (the highlighted button in the figure below).
If you do not respond for too long between pressing a camera key and pressing an application key, an error may be displayed.
Camera: Click OK and then return to step 1.
Smart device: Press OK, then return to step 2.
Mating for the first time
The first time you pair with the Snapbridge application, you will be asked to select the automatic pairing option. This dialog box is no longer displayed, but you can access the automatic link settings at any time via Automatic Link on the first tab.
Step six: Smart device / camera
Follow the instructions:
When pairing is complete, click OK and the camera will display a dialog box informing you that the smart device and camera are connected. Click OK on the dialog box.
When pairing is complete, press OK and exit Tab 1.
Linking with multiple cameras
You can also connect additional cameras. To link more cameras, click the Add Camera button and repeat steps 3 through 6. The Snap Bridge application prompts you to connect for up to 5 cameras.
For IOS devices
